By the end of The Disguiser, Manchun was the character I found most tragic. You were born a good woman, so why become a criminal? That's what I felt most strongly. To make up for some of that heartbreak, I'm writing a continuation about Manchun and her senior here. The first half of the story is largely the same as the plot of The Disguiser, with a few small differences. Since Manchun is the protagonist of my story, I've made her a little more sympathetic.
This story begins after Manchun escapes from prison. In my version, she doesn't seek revenge. While fleeing the people Ming Lou sent to kill her, she falls into the Huangpu River and disappears without a trace.
This isn't based on the TV series, and I'll create a perfect ending for her in my own imagination. If that's not your thing, please don't read.

After reading it, I was very moved, but I still feel that they should not be together. She is not worthy of his feelings for home and country, he is not worthy of her love, and they should not be together.
In fact, Minglou did the right thing morally for his country. But now that he no longer has the hatred of his country and his family, he wants to start over with Manchun again, and he doesn't hesitate to use this method. Isn't it a bit shameful?? Don't hit me, it's just my personal feeling. Based on their situation, Minglou knew that it would be nice to have a cup of tea and chat in peace. Other couples may be able to be ordinary friends after breaking up, but they don't have the conditions to be ordinary friends at all, not to mention that Minglou wants to start over again now?????
With it in hand, after a few lazy shakes, the author will quickly code the extras!!! (Updated version)
I am deeply touched and grateful to the author for writing another ending that belongs to Manchun and Minglou, and realizing a dream of love called Wang Manchun.
Because he loves Minglou, he was controlled by Minglou. He doesn't like Minglou and always feels that he commits crimes based on his love. His cowardice led Wang Manchun astray back then, and later his use of Wang Manchun's love for him put Manchun into hell. He loved this country, and he personally drove Wang Manchun out of the country he loved, but after taking full advantage of Wang Manchun, he could confidently say why Wang Manchun was not in his country.
Personally, I hate Wang Manchun very much. For no other reason than being a traitor can wipe out all her good points, leaving nothing but negative points. Although the author started writing after the founding of the People's Republic of China, can the innocent lives that Wang Manchun killed before be erased in one stroke? Part of her distortion is due to her blocked love affair, but more of it is due to her nature. To evaluate Wang Manchun, there are only two words: ruthless and unscrupulous.
Maybe everything in Minglou is good, but here in Manchun, I think he is only suitable for a lifetime of asking for nothing but watching Manchun live a happy life. When you are still living with memories, he only treats memories as a past event and a story.
It just stopped like this, so reluctant to let go... Dad, when will you publish a new article?
Although it is short, it captures the characters' delicate emotional changes! If you want to read some other articles, can you tell me?
Minglou finally figured it out and would not let Manchun down this time! OK! Work harder and Manchun will forgive you!
