This Azure Dragon is not the Azure Dragon among the Four Sacred Beasts, and has barely anything to do with that one. The Azure Dragon among the Four Sacred Beasts will show up later for a bit, though. The protagonist dragon is dark teal, and he won't appear in any myths, histories, or tales of monsters, because I made him up myself. Please don't take it too seriously. The premise is also something I made up. The Nine Qi is a Taoist term, so that part is based on fact, not made up. Anyway, this is a story about an ordinary human protagonist who is pursued by the dragon, as the two encounter ghosts, hunt down demons, bring evil spirits to heel, trick gods, and, along the way, fall in love. The story is made up, but the demons, monsters, gods, and ghosts in it are based on real sources. I might make up an odd one myself if the mood strikes, such as the two protagonists. All this is just to say, please don't take it too seriously. We read for fun, and taking things too seriously is no fun at all~
