Becoming Jane Austen [Fanfiction]

The story takes place in England during the Regency era in 1796.

Jane is an independent, witty, sharp-tongued writer (though not quite one yet), who loves using her clever mind to tease and satirize everything around her. At the time, she'd only just begun writing Northanger Abbey, and it would be another 17 years before her best-known work, Pride and Prejudice, was published.

She lives with her family in the rural town of Steventon, in northern Hampshire. Her mother, much like Mrs. Bennet, is beginning to fret about her marriage. Then Mrs. Gresham and her nephew come to visit Steventon, seemingly solving her problem.

Her mother tries to bring the two together, but Jane also meets Tom, who has come to Steventon from London. And so the story begins...

After watching the film Becoming Jane, I was devastated, but still couldn't get enough.

So here's a fluffy, sweet HE to indulge my fantasies about James McAvoy. (Inspired by the biographical film and the original novel Becoming Jane Austen.)

The whole story is sweet, follows the film's plot, and has an HE ending, with a few minor changes.

Jane and Tom's personalities are pretty much unchanged from how I imagine them. Tom is still just as charming and adorable~
