Blurb:
From the very beginning, she knew he didn't like her.
But she didn't like him either.
She didn't like the way he seemed to see through everything.
She didn't like his cold, detached attitude.
She didn't like his unfiltered words.
But...
When did she start caring about what he thought?
When did she start looking forward to spending time with him?
And when did she start caring about the women around him... er, the other things around him?
How frustrating!
He still treated her just as he always had,
with that same lukewarm attitude,
that same air of indifference.
Had she gotten it wrong?
Was his subtle concern and seemingly effortless indulgence of her all just her imagination?
What should she do?
She wanted him all to herself more and more.
Was that even possible?
She really, really wanted to know
if he liked her even a little. Just a little...
If you enjoy this story, please also check out A Yi's other completed work. It was written a few years ago and isn't very good, but if you're interested, click here:
When Love Meets Prejudice
A Yi has recently been thinking about starting another story. The idea is still in development. I've drafted a blurb, though I'm not entirely happy with it, so I'm posting it here. If you're interested, please add A Yi to your author favorites, or remember to come back at the end of June!
Blurb for the new story (another campus romance. Jie Yi is a lost cause: I wanted to write a historical story, but ended up back at school again):
“Lu Feng Tong, I look down on you. You're not even worthy of being my friend.” Three years ago, he coldly turned down her confession.
“Hmph, still clinging to me like always. Lu Feng Tong, looks like you haven't changed at all in three years. Having a great time, are you?” Three years later, he stopped her and asked through gritted teeth.
She looked at him and sighed.
What he didn't know was that over the past three years, she had lost confidence because of him; she had worked harder because of him; she had become more reserved because of him. The only thing that hadn't changed was her stubbornness, and that, too, was because of him.
She had never truly given up on him. She still held on to hope...
But it was time to move on. A person couldn't keep being so hopelessly one-sided forever, could they?
P.S. A quick heads-up: this new story is really just something Jie Yi is writing for fun. The plot may be melodramatic and clichéd (I'll do my best to make it better), so think carefully before diving in. Once you're in, please don't throw bricks at me. Jie Yi believes in peace, hehe~
Theme:
In fact, I think it would be more heartwarming if those extra episodes were turned into the male protagonist's diary and then discovered by the female protagonist~ (*^__^*) Hehe...
Damn, keep writing campus essays. The campus literature is good and pure. Author's reply: Haha, campus writing is good, but Xie Yi's writing is not good (but maybe Ah Yi's writing in other types of writing would be worse, hehe~~~)
It's so awkward, extra points.
Beautiful BOOK sprinkles
It's finally over. . Tears flowed freely. . . . .
A big handful of flowers~~Congratulations on the completion Looking forward to your next work
Spread flowers, congratulations on the completion. Also, what an awkward kid!
By the way, I want to ask, do you still have it in stock? Author's reply: Haha, long time no see yuguo~!! I have it "in stock", but I'm modifying it, so I haven't put it up all at once. In other words, I have finished writing the article (that was a year ago), and now I have divided the whole article into chapters and put it in the manuscript box. However, some parts need to be revised, so I have not published it all at once. The new chapters I have added are all going to be slightly revised, so the progress is a little delayed and I have not finished the whole article in one go. But it is almost there. I plan to finish the article before this week. I feel very guilty for delaying everyone for so long. . . .
Is that brother Zhiyuan on the other end of the phone?
Why can't the two of us think of going together? How long will this continue...
