The Trials of the Bodhisattva

He was sealed inside a jade bottle for a hundred years, his memories incomplete.

She traveled tens of thousands of miles along the long road of this mortal world.

He said he was a fox spirit who had practiced for a hundred years and learned much of the Buddha’s teachings.

She was a demon tamer who had forgotten where she came from and did not know the way back.

He thought that if he stayed by her side, he might find some happiness and spend more time with her.

But there was the parrot by her side, that horse, and all those demon spirits and ghosts they couldn’t get past.

Why wouldn’t they give him even a chance to show off?

After all, I’m a fox spirit who achieved great mastery after only a hundred years of cultivation!

Author’s Note: This is a story about a cool, aloof female demon tamer and a talkative male fox who thinks he’s incredibly handsome. After the weekend, I’ll update both stories at the same time. I’m leaving this here on 5/12: follow me back, 18 people! Then I can reach level 10. ~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~
