The Entire Cultivation World Thinks I'm a Stand-In

[Full draft complete] [Title and blurb to be decided; a xianxia novel] 1. I was a minor immortal. During my tribulation, I took on a disciple. 2. Later, when I returned to my place in the heavens, I prepared all sorts of things for my disciple, waiting for him to ascend and come find me. But he never came up. 3. It wasn't until I once descended to the mortal realm that I found out. The year I died after returning to my place in the heavens, my disciple flew into a rage and switched to demonic cultivation. No wonder I waited five hundred years in heaven and never saw him ascend. 4. When he said he would come find me, he meant it. He was going to fight his way into the Immortal Realm. 5. But the Immortal Realm belongs to me. 6. They came up with a perfectly reasonable excuse for me and my disciple to be together. For the sake of world peace. 7. But I was with him because I love him. They insist on thinking I made some tremendous sacrifice. They should know better than to think anyone could force me if I weren't willing. 8. A love rival came to my door and said my disciple only saw me as a substitute. I listened as he told me how deeply my disciple had once loved me. I laughed. He thought he'd driven me mad. 9. Somehow, we ended up with a win-win. * Mutual crush Master and disciple, younger disciple 2020.3.28 Theme:
