The strangest thing that ever happened to Su Wan was hiding during a game of hide-and-seek in her family’s own tomb. When she came out, she discovered the whole world had changed.
The thing Zhang Dafu was proudest of in his life was going into a tomb and bringing back a wife.
Reader’s guide:
1. The heroine is a pampered young lady, the innocent, blunt, speaks-before-thinking kind (assuming this terrible author can pull it off [stares at the sky]).
2. The whole story is extremely indulgent, from beginning to end. Even Lan Bo can’t help.
3. I’ll think of a third point later.
I haven’t watched much of the TV series. My impression of the Old Nine Gates comes from The Lost Tomb and Wu Xie’s writing. There are original elements, differences from canon, and out-of-character moments.
There’s romance, wish fulfillment, and illogical bits. The writing may be a little explosive, so please leave a comment with ideas to help this little angel.
This is my first time writing, and there are plenty of shortcomings. Please bear with me.
