The Pen Passes Judgment on the World of Martial Arts

[Content warning: This was written in 2018, when the author's values and worldview were still forming, and her awareness of women's issues had not yet awakened. Some statements may be uncomfortable to read, though there was no intention to discriminate against women or pit women against each other. The writing is immature and fails to capture the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty. There are many typos and incorrect word choices. The writing is emotionally overwrought, and the emotional expression may be excessive.] Blurb: A sword can kill one person; a brush can condemn the world! People know that killing can uphold the Way, but they don't know that the written word can save all the people of the world, too! [Ding! Write a romance novel that moves Ximen Chuixue.] [Ding! Write a wuxia novel that makes Chu Liuxiang give up his philandering ways.] [Ding! Write a biographical novel that reconciles Badao and Cangjian.] Mu Shutu Jisi, looking utterly bewildered: "System, you're so amazing, so why don't you go to heaven?" This is the story of a clueless weakling who can't use martial arts and becomes a literary legend by writing in a mixed wuxia world. #What do you do when you bring the wrong gear into a quest instance?# #The golden finger has wandered into the wrong setting.# #Let's all fly up to the sky and stand shoulder to shoulder with the sun.# No plagiarism or reworking of famous authors' works. Every novel written by the female lead comes from my own imagination. If you don't like it, we'll part ways here in the jianghu. Please don't start a fight. The female lead is a cute, soft little Jiluo with catlike eyes and a cowlick that sticks up. She has the statuses "Miserable Aura" and "MAX Misunderstanding Magnet." In short, she's genuinely miserable, but doesn't think she is. No matter how lively and happy she acts, everyone around her thinks she's having the worst time imaginable. What a strange ability. The CP is Ye Mushu and Tang Wule. As usual, the pairing is set: no flirting with others, no male rivals, no messy entanglements, and a faithful relationship until death. Reader Advisory: #A chaotic mash-up of wuxia worlds, with timelines all over the place and geography in a complete mess. No picking apart the historical details.# #The female lead can't practice martial arts and is a total weakling. If you don't like this setup, click the red button at the upper right to escape safely.# #The male lead is Tang Wule, an arrogant, willful, domineering Cannoneer with the temperament of a mad dog, not a loyal puppy. If you want to read about Young Master Wule loving someone in a groveling, submissive way, you can click the X. It's sweet and doting, with the female lead doting on the male lead. Yes, you heard right.# #Slow burn, dragging plot, and little presence for the male lead. The most swoon-worthy character is Ye Ying, and the second most swoon-worthy is the female lead's pen name. Ye Ying's presence overwhelms everything.# #The setting, golden finger, and tropes are all listed in the blurb. If you don't like this story, let's part on good terms. Click the little red X, and we'll never meet in the jianghu. No inflammatory comments, insults, or online fights.# Cover image used without permission; will remove if asked.
