Hello, Teacher He

Blurb:

Hello, Mr. He.

An utterly ordinary greeting held the fluttering heart of my entire youth.

In the classroom, he was Mr. He, gentle and exacting.

Outside the classroom, he was the one I loved but didn't dare tell anyone about.

We were separated by our roles, by rules, and by the judgment of society,

but I still couldn't help moving closer to him, one step at a time.

It began with "Hello, Mr. He."

And later, I wanted to say to him:

Please guide me for the rest of our lives.
