My Useless, Beautiful Husband

When palace attendants talk about powerful eunuchs you absolutely must never offend, two names often come up: Chen Wu and Yuan Qi.

Eunuch Chen is a gentleman through and through, handsome and refined. Countless palace attendants secretly admire him, and if you offend him, you'll have to endure who knows how many people spitting at you.

As for Eunuch Yuan, well, he's greedy, snobbish, and petty. All he does is pit fighting cocks and crickets to curry favor with his master. How on earth did he become chief eunuch? Better to offend a gentleman than a petty man, so steer clear of him if you can!

Shu He: Well, I mean... I just happen to like this adorable, brainless, useless pretty boy.

Chief Eunuch Yuan Qi x Shu He, a female official of the Court of Palace Justice (original female lead)

A few things to know before reading:

This is a Shang Shi fanfic, but I haven't watched the show closely, so everything is made up. The characters are out of character, and I'm historically clueless and make lots of typos. This is purely in service of the romance. I'm not very satisfied with the plot, and writing fanfiction makes me feel constrained. I'll reflect on that, but I hope you can get their love. They're real!
