The pool in Shuyuan is fed by a steady stream of yellow water. The water flows around three times before returning to its source; this is the Elixir River, and drinking from it grants immortality. Everything the immortal realm requires can be found here, including deathless trees, elixirs of immortality, and waters of immortality.
