The first part follows the [Hashirama and Madara] timeline. The plot departs wildly from canon, which is basically just a timeline for this story. There are lots of headcanons, so if you're a canon purist, please don't get hung up on the details... Because in the original Hokage, Madara Uchiha could never have been a girl!
