Distant Memories (Trails in the Sky Sequel: Estelle and Joshua's Children)

When I was writing "Return," I knew that what was coming would come eventually. It was only a matter of time.

A lot of people have said before that I wouldn't put little Joshua through any angst. I always just smiled and said nothing, because the whole story of "Return" centers on Estelle's journey, focusing on the theme of "growth." In Estelle's emotional journey and personal growth, little Joshua is merely an added element.

But in this story, "Distant Memories," Joshua Bright will be the protagonist. Through the childish, narrow-minded, and biased perspective of his only daughter, Lumina Bright, I will explore the theme of "endurance." This has nothing to do with those unforgettable romances anymore. It's simply a rather boring tribute to a father who bore all the pain, yet bravely stood back up and took responsibility for everything.
