A story about a governess and a noble young lady
The setting is similar to Europe in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. It is semi-fictional, with a bad ending.
The author has never heard Beethoven's Eroica Symphony, so the Eroica in this story can be taken as another piece with the same name.
The final sentence of this story is adapted from the last sentence of Shen Congwen's Border Town.
The original idea was simply a love story, but after I came up with Catherine's character, I couldn't help writing it the way it is now.
This idea came to me while I was reading The Count of Monte Cristo. There was a villain's daughter who had no interest in men at all and eventually ran away from home with her music teacher. I sensed a hint of romance between women in that, so I wanted to write a story about a young lady from a great family and her music teacher. And, true to my usual style in short stories, I planned a bad ending. I wanted to make the young lady capricious and utterly heartless, toying with the music teacher, while the music teacher still loved her like a moth flying into a flame. That's why I titled it Flying into the Flame. But I have to say that what I ended up writing is very different from what I originally imagined, and the title Flying into the Flame no longer seems quite fitting. Now that I've written this much, I think that they are also searching for the light, searching for the hope of equality, so perhaps the title Flying into the Flame isn't so inappropriate after all.
Actually, the author is just too lazy to think up a new title.
Theme:
I feel like it's to be continued 😳 They will meet in the future, right?
"She carefully put the piano cover on..." This is a big bug for the author~ Pooh hahaha [cai dog]
The big writing is very surprising, I like it very much
Hahaha, it turns out I'm not the only one
I browsed through it very carefully. It looks very good and I like it very much. The details are handled very well. From the interactions, dialogues, and psychological descriptions of the characters, you can see that the author's writing skills are very solid and powerful. As for the arrangement of the ending, although it is a BE, I felt that the story was not over yet. I thought there would be a follow-up, but it ended abruptly, leaving me with unfinished thoughts and endless thoughts. In the process of reading, I have already realized that the author's level is very high. I will save it 0w0 and plan to read other works of yours.
