“I can give you everything you want, except love.”
At sixteen, Chen Baixi lost his family and took his little sister, a burden in tow, to work for a wealthy family nearby. There he met the eldest young master, Zhou Ming, and the two became entangled in an ambiguous relationship.
When Chen Baixi met Zhou Ming again, many years had passed. Unexpectedly, they became entangled once more.
Chen Baixi: “What he can't give me is exactly what I want most.”
The gong, early on [cold and distant]: Chen Baixi, don't fall in love with me.
The gong, later on _| ̄|○: My wife is the best! I love my wife!! Don't ignore me, honey! I was wrong!
The shou o( ̄ヘ ̄o): Get lost!
This is a story about a shou who starts out as a substitute, but after all the swapping, the substitute becomes the real thing.
[Notice]
1. A cold and distant gong early on, who later becomes a devoted, shameless, affectionate eldest young master who dotes on his lover and knows how to flirt x a pitiful substitute shou whose life never goes right
2. A little angst early on, with melodramatic, scummy romance. The shou suffers first, then the gong. The scummy gong becomes a devoted puppy. Sweet romance and a happy ending later on.
3. The writing style may feel rather old-fashioned, and the logic may be nonexistent. If that's not your thing, just click away. Don't flame me. I've got a bad temper and will talk back.
