Missing You on the Edge of Friendship

One day, I found myself missing someone who had never existed, and so I wanted to write this.

Maybe she once came into my life and passed through it.

Maybe she's still somewhere, quietly watching over me and keeping me safe.

But when the night grows quiet, I still feel lonely, so I keep missing her.
