No Snow on Cang Mountain, No Fall for a Thousand Autumns 2

[An early work. Don't read it! I take no responsibility if it gives you whiplash!]

He wanted to live a carefree life with her, far from worldly troubles, but was forced to face a ruthless struggle for power. When responsibility can no longer be avoided, what choice will he make about love?

He burned in the fires of the Underworld for eight hundred years, waiting in anguish for eight hundred years. For whom do the words "Eternal, Ill-Fated Love" on the Three Lives Stone weep?

He was content to live freely, until he met her. They knew and loved each other for just ten years, but fate played a cruel joke on him. When they met again nine years later, she was already someone else's wife.

She was a princess, and the source of his heartache. Yet he loved her as if she were his own child.

He was a simple-minded boy who once thought that if he tried hard enough, he would earn his father's approval. But that was only a foolish dream. Only after everything fell apart did he finally understand.

He was merely the illegitimate son born after a nobleman took advantage of his mother. Blinded by hatred, he only realized what he'd lost after taking everything from everyone else.
