My name is Xia Shang. I'm an Immortal Lord of Fate, in charge of the various plots that unfold when the gods descend to the mortal realm to undergo tribulations. I'm also a novelist, and melodramatic plots are my specialty.
I call my record book the Futu. For each immortal, I record only three of the most exciting episodes from their journeys to the mortal realm to undergo tribulations. Three episodes make up three lifetimes, so I call it the Futu Record of Three Lifetimes.
My book contains the stories of only seven immortals, the seven people most often discussed over tea in the celestial realm.
There are seven people in the celestial realm you must never offend. If you see them, run: Dongjun Mu Zijin, the Supreme Immortal Qingyue, Master of the Netherworld Bureau; Niaoqing, Supreme Immortal and Chief of the Vermilion Bird Clan; Jiuli, Heavenly Lord and Chief of the North Sea Dragon Clan; the Lotus Fairy Fuhan; Jian Xiao, the Immortal in the Clouds; and Emperor Luo Qianfan.
My story revolves around these seven.
Now, Qingyue is a troublemaker in the celestial realm. The old Heavenly Emperor wanted to teach him a lesson, so he gave the Star Lord of Fate a task: Qingyue's romantic tribulation had to be brutal and melodramatic, and Emperor Qianfan had to be dragged into it too.
Emperor Qianfan is no ordinary person either. After remaining pure and passionless for tens of thousands of years, he suddenly wants to find a goddess to cultivate with. After searching high and low, he visits the Netherworld Bureau and falls for Qingyue.
"Your Imperial Highness, could you be any more shameless?"
"Hmm? Qingyue, would you like to see me be even more shameless?"
Qingyue: Aaaah! Where did the aloof emperor go, the one who used to be pure and passionless, and so handsome he hardly seemed real?
Come on come on!! Let's encourage each other!!!
