Two or Three Events in the Last Days

New novel, “The Occult: I Only Know a Tiny Bit,” now updating...

.

The apocalypse came. Animals mutated, plants mutated, and Jing Lin took his nephew Lele back to his hometown.

He had thought the talisman knowledge he’d been coaxed into learning as a child was all fake. He never expected it to actually prove useful in the apocalypse...

New no-romance, male-oriented novel:

“The Occult: I Only Know a Tiny Bit”

A disaster struck the wealthy Cai family: the son they’d raised for eighteen years turned out to have been switched at birth.

The impostor son had lived in luxury, enjoying eighteen years of premium resources, while their real son had grown up in a remote mountain village where even reaching the city meant crossing mountains.

Word had it he’d never even spent a day in school. He’d become a young con artist, and videos of him swindling people with fortune-telling had spread all over the internet.

The Cai family felt utterly humiliated. They had no expectations for their biological son, and after bringing him home, they found fault with everything he did.

.

Zhu Weisheng was born with a profoundly spiritual constitution, weak family ties, and a light fate. He was raised by an old Daoist who lived in seclusion in the mountains.

From the time he was little, the old Daoist told him that one must never become conceited.

So when people were amazed that Zhu Weisheng could really tell fortunes, he modestly counted on his fingers and said, “I only know a tiny bit.”

Later on.

“You can read feng shui too?!”

The modest Zhu Weisheng: “A tiny bit.”

“What about ghosts? Can you catch them?”

Still modest, Zhu Weisheng smiled. “A tiny bit.”

But everyone who had seen Zhu Weisheng tell fortunes, catch ghosts, and alter feng shui was utterly stunned.

They’d heard him wrong. It wasn’t a tiny bit at all. It was a billion tiny bits!

Only the Cai family stood there, dumbfounded. “We were told he was a con artist who swindles people???”
