I remembered a line I'd read many years ago:
A leaf leaves because the wind pursues it, or because the tree doesn't try to hold it back.
This is where our first leaf begins.
On a night like this, a leaf met a gust of wind.
The wind said, "Let's go together."
The leaf said, "But I don't know you."
The wind said, "Are you happy?"
The leaf said nothing.
The wind stirred the whole branch. The surrounding leaves rustled, inviting the wind to play, but the leaf remained silent.
"Look, your heart is so heavy. Do you want to cry? Then why don't you? Look how light I am. Come and play with me. If you grow tired of me, or if one day you can let go of your whole heart, you can come back then."
So the leaf followed the wind into the distance. It didn't yet know that once a leaf leaves home, it can never return to the branch.
Back then, we were all so innocent. We all hoped to find a gust of wind that would carry us far away, somewhere without sorrow.
Xiao Bai is Xiao Hei's answer, but Xiao Bai is thicker than Xiao Hei. Without Xiao Hei, Xiao Bai is just Xiao Bai. Without Xiao Bai, Xiao Hei is just a mystery. That same night, their owner left Xiao Bai on a desk in a classroom that hadn't been used in a long time. Then a leaf carried by the wind covered Xiao Bai.
The wind said to the leaf, "You can rest here for a while." So the leaf lay quietly on Xiao Bai.
A pretty girl walked by and exclaimed, "What a beautiful leaf."
The leaf quietly said, "Thank you."
Saw it accidentally, come on
