Everyone says immortality is wonderful. Only she calls it poison, a poison of time that freezes the years and leaves her to journey alone through them, silently experiencing every joy and sorrow, until hysteria gives way to a heart turned to ash. This is the story of two flowers born from the same root: Xu Yu and Chang Heng'er. Chang Heng'er takes her name from Heng'e, another name for Chang'e. According to legend, Chang'e gained immortality, ascended to the moon, and dwelled alone in the Guanghan Palace. Chang Heng'er, too, was poisoned by immortality. Every thousand years, she must find someone with the same fate as hers and exchange blood with them to avoid falling into a century-long sleep. Xu Yu is that person in this cycle. After meeting Chang Heng'er, she gathers with several beings of unknown origin at Qingchuan Pavilion, embarking on a fantastical life.
