Charles, a destitute trainee assassin, receives his first job at the agency: kill the notorious gang leader Mr. M before a major deal goes down. Desperate to win back his ex-girlfriend, Charles badly wants the generous fee. But during the assassination attempt, he crosses paths with Erik, an information broker who becomes an unexpected ally. Erik seems to take a liking to him and helps him again and again, always asking for something in return.
