For d-s, sex is just like eating and sleeping. It's even more important than eating and sleeping. A human can choose not to have sex with anyone. But if a d-s doesn't have sex with someone, it will die. That was one of Dr. Richard's cruel design choices. He wanted d-s to value sex above life itself, so they would provide perfect service. He designed d-s to suffer brain death if they went more than ten days without having sex.
