A Love That Eats at the Heart

She hated him, the man who called himself her father. She hated him for causing her mother's death and stealing every bit of joy from her childhood. She hated how he devoted all his attention to his new love... She hated him so much. She hated herself for still craving the little fatherly affection he had to offer, and for still caring about him. Why had she lost everything she wanted? Her mother! The person she loved! She had tried so hard to fight for them, but Heaven ignored her pleas, and in the end everything she wanted left her. She hated him. She truly hated him!
