Tales of Qing Ge (Wuqing X Muxue)

"Everyone in the Qingge tribe knows Mu Xue never lies." The little princess proudly lifted her tiny chin, brimming with confidence.

The old man watched her skip away, then stroked his grizzled beard. "Little Mu Xue, whether you find it or not, you're destined to marry my grandson."

As if possessed, he raised his trembling right hand and lifted the sedan curtain. Mu Xue's beautiful figure in her wedding dress came into view, blood red at her wrist. He uttered a name, one both unfamiliar and familiar: "Ruyan..."

"I thought Grandpa had gotten confused. I figured I'd already won, but it turns out that whether I found it or not, I was going to marry you in the end. Thinking about it, I'm just like those child brides people talk about." Ji Yaoxue wrinkled her nose.

Wuqing laughed heartily. "That's not so bad."

The structure of each chapter is roughly: memories (from Wuqing's perspective) + the present-day story.

It may seem pretty confusing. I might rearrange the order later, who knows.
