[Dream of the Red Chamber] The Rising Sun and the Phoenix

Too clever by half, she plotted and schemed until she ended up taking her own life! Her heart was broken in life, her soul freed in death. The family was once wealthy and peaceful, but in the end it fell apart, its members scattering in every direction. All that restless worry was for nothing, half a lifetime spent in vain; like a drifting dream at the third watch of the night. Crash! The grand mansion came tumbling down, like a lamp about to go out in the gloom. Ah! Joy turned to grief in an instant. Alas, in this world, nothing is ever certain! After spending her life plotting and scheming, she received only a letter of divorce, then died miserably at the Temple of the Prison God. When Wang Xifeng opened her eyes again, she had returned to the time after her engagement but before her wedding. Since she still had to marry into the Jia family, she would make the best of her own life and properly "repay" her dear aunt! Warning: The young women will all, as far as possible, have good futures. Since the story is told from Wang Xifeng's perspective, her judgments of other characters may sometimes be biased. That does not necessarily reflect what those characters are really like; everyone in Dream of the Red Chamber has their own strengths and flaws. Wang Xifeng's judgments are not entirely my own opinions. The previous story has been successfully completed, and now I'm starting to work on this one! Dream of the Red Chamber: A Clever and Virtuous Lady Her soul follows her daughter back to her long-missed family home. But what she sees is neither the warmth of her family nor her daughter's happiness. She sees only her family seizing her husband's property and her daughter's life, until at last all is left bleak and empty. When Jia Min returns to the time of her first marriage, she vows to support her husband and win a bright future for their children! Theme: Giving the characters in the book a relatively happy ending
