[My other story, The Male Consort Master of the Female Demon Lord, could be considered an alternative ending to this one.]
I once came across a story that was over 300,000 words long but had hardly any comments. I figured it must be pretty bad.
Now my own story is over 300,000 words, and just as cold as Antarctica. But actually, the work I've poured my heart and soul into isn't bad.
For anyone who might be interested, here's a little more about this story:
I started writing this novel in 2011. It's both fan fiction and a relatively self-contained story. Even if you haven't read my beloved The Snowflake Sword, you can still follow it with ease.
The writing style imitates traditional wuxia. Wuxia may no longer be popular, but I grew up reading so much of it that it left its mark on me.
The main story is a romance between a master and his disciple. The master is a man, the disciple a woman, and they love each other deeply. The master is an aloof, proud, profound, and detached master who lives beyond the mortal world. He pursues spiritual self-cultivation, struggles endlessly with morality and social conventions, keeps his feelings tightly guarded, and ties himself in knots. In her previous life, the disciple was the all-powerful leader of a demonic cult. She's open and passionate in her feelings, rebellious and cunning, and loves and hates fiercely. For all her deep affection, she will never let anyone control her. True to herself and living freely, she makes a brilliant life of her own.
Besides the main story, I focus on portraying several distinctive female supporting characters. I have a soft spot for wuxia, but I've never been satisfied with most of its female characters, so I wanted to try depicting carefree heroines who aren't ruled by romance, powerful female demon lords who aren't ruled by romance, a young girl who refuses to let anyone tell her she's doomed to fail, a cold older sister who never forgives the younger brother who hurt her, a woman who rises from the ashes to take revenge, and more.
Theme: A wuxia world filled with a cast of vividly realized, complex women
I like it so much. What you wrote is exactly what I really want to read. I wonder if there will be a chance to finish it.
Why don't you continue writing? I saw it by chance, I really like it
I haven't seen such smooth pure martial arts in a long time.
After reading it, I was so sad. The writing is really touching, and I could read the whole thing in my head, but it's a pity that there is no ending. I wonder if I can see the ending in my lifetime? Xiaofeng and Master are really, oh, so entangled.
Will you update it? I couldn't find it on Tieba, but I found it in Jinjiang, so I came here.
Xiaofeng was directly pushed to Luo Xuan. The two of them were too entangled. Recently, they fell in love with Xuanfeng. It was so cruel.
Did I just fall into the pit and be unable to get out?
Updated ~ Come on! I've watched it on Tieba for several years, and I'm quite impressed now when I read it again.
Come on. Very well written
I really liked this drama at first, and I felt particularly sorry for Xiaofeng. Later I went to the forum to read the articles, but I couldn't finish them all. It's a pity.
