A Wonderful Journey

Teng Xi and Jie Feng were born into a very wealthy family. They were a close brother and sister.

One day, Teng Xi and Jie Feng came home from school. After finishing their homework, they had nothing to do, so they picked up the globe on the table and started fiddling with it. Suddenly, an eraser on the table went flying and stuck to the globe with a snap. Jie Feng was startled and asked Teng Xi, "What's going on? Let's get the eraser off!" "I'll do it," Teng Xi said, reaching for the eraser without hesitation. Strange, it was as if there were a protective shield around the globe. No matter how Teng Xi felt around it, he couldn't touch it. "Let me try," Jie Feng said hesitantly, picking up a pencil. But the pencil couldn't reach the globe either, and Jie Feng was disappointed. So Teng Xi ran outside, broke off a branch more than a meter long, and tried to knock the eraser off. He gave it a little push, and the eraser fell away. Ah! The globe slowly began to grow, growing bigger and bigger until it was as tall as Teng Xi. They walked over curiously. Jie Feng said fearfully to her brother, "Let's not get too close." Teng Xi said nervously, "Let's get a little closer. Maybe we'll find something out." Jie Feng had no choice but to agree. They circled the globe, but it was hard to get near it. Jie Feng muttered to herself, "The globe must have a secret mechanism. Otherwise, why won't it let us get close? We just took the eraser off it, so it must have gotten angry and grown this big." Jie Feng couldn't help saying, "I'm sorry." Just then, she heard her brother shout, "Come quickly, Jie Feng! I found the entrance!"
