Seraph of the End tells the story of humanity fighting for survival against vampires who emerged from underground, after the population was decimated by an apocalypse virus developed by humans. The two main characters begin by escaping a vampire city, but a twist of fate gives them different identities and puts them on opposite sides. Against this backdrop, the anime explores human nature and various conflicts.
This story, however, is not about any of that. It is simply an account of something experienced by someone over a certain period of time, sparked by one small, everyday event. Looking back, it is just a fleeting ripple in the vast river of history.
Two years after Krul Tepes turned Mikaela into a vampire, she is puzzled by his stubborn refusal to remove his sword while drinking blood. As she investigates the reason, she comes across the story told in The Blue Iris, a book known among vampires as a "forbidden text." She speaks with the young leader planning an uprising, each from the perspective of their own race. She also uses a secret technique to send a human girl under her control to stand beside Yuichiro, Mikaela's most important family member and an ally of humanity, so the girl can ask questions that will help Yuichiro resolve her own doubts...
In the end, it seems as if nothing has changed. But in truth, no matter how it happens, the moment the two races come into contact, something has already shifted in secret, and the future is uncertain. So take up your sword, your weapon. If you have none, turn yourself into a blade. You must do something, for survival, for change!
(Note: This story is not long. Judging by its word count, it might be classified as a short story or a novella.)
(After much thought and considering my recent commitments, I've decided to pause updates. I apologize to everyone. I can't say when I'll resume, but this story has special meaning to me, so I don't think I'll abandon it outright. Even though my follower count has always hovered between 30 and 40, I believe in seeing things through. Someday, I will finish it.)
Why do you want to lock so many chapters? When will you come back? I think the collision between human civilization and vampires you wrote is great.
After reading the author's reply in the comment area, I agree with the teacher's views on the background of this anime. I will save it first and come back to it after I complete the background 😳
Wow, I suddenly found an update, come on
Is this book good to read? The answer is. . . .
It's more literary and artistic. Although there are some parts that I can't understand, it's still very interesting overall. Kudos to the author↖(^ω^)↗
Hmm, the complex descriptions of human children's hearts in Catching Bugs: Abby's Kitchen Adventures are too literary. Although the language is beautiful, I feel that it is not only redundant but also that I don't understand it after reading it. Also, during the scene where Micah drinks tea... Can you move it away to write the essay? That's great, dear! Finally, can you tell me which grade you are in?
It feels like talking about Ciel again
Although I can't understand it a bit, the author writes it very seriously and it has improved my knowledge. Come on! Hmm, can you please add some Micah scenes?
Time is tight√ 2333 No spicy food
Suddenly I felt the inexplicable taste of love [What the hell]
