The Apocalypse Descends

The apocalypse arrives. A short story.

Song Qi watched him put the tube in his mouth and start gulping down the blood. Another wave of nausea washed over him, and Song Qi, feeling miserable, had to brace himself against the operating table and retch.

By the time Song Qi stopped retching, the container was nearly empty. Yang Yi stopped, brought the tube in front of Song Qi, and said without expression, "Drink the rest."

There was still blood at the corner of his mouth. Song Qi could almost smell its metallic tang. He covered his mouth, his body unable to stop itself from backing away.

Seeing this, Yang Yi put the tube back in his own mouth and took a large gulp of blood. He stepped forward, grabbed Song Qi by the front of his hospital gown, and pulled him close. He forcibly pulled down the hand covering Song Qi's mouth, then sealed their lips together the next second. Warm, nauseating liquid with a metallic tang passed from Yang Yi's mouth into his.

The nausea wasn't as strong as before. Yang Yi kept his mouth pressed to Song Qi's until he had forced him to swallow every last drop of blood, then finally let him go.

The inspiration came rather suddenly, so I decided to write a short post-apocalyptic story. This is my first attempt at writing one, and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.

Hehehe, running away with my head covered!
