Sim Yangguang 2016

“There’s so much I want to say, but haven’t said yet I’ve been saving it all up to turn into a song For someone to sing softly, and remember faintly Even if it’s finally forgotten, it will have been worth it Perhaps the little droplets of thought I’ve carried all my life Might, by some stroke of luck, gather into a river...” Love Song 2010, Seven Years, So What? Their story continues in the third person. --- When I reread things I wrote a few years ago, I unexpectedly remembered bits and pieces of what I saw and heard in those years. I’m not used to writing about life in a realistic way in online forums, so I hide stories behind witty jokes, softening the impact of life’s joys and sorrows. Actually, there’s nothing literary about it at all! A classmate said what I write should be called Simlife, a virtual life. I agreed, so it became Sims Sunshine, virtual sunshine. Another classmate said I should write about everything under the sun. I agreed again, so L, G, B, T, bg, b, and g came together to form the Big Dipper. --- Life is more than just scraping by in the present: there are also shocking surprises and faraway melodrama... Once again, I declare that this story is entirely fictional. Any resemblance is a stroke of good fortune... Because how does that saying go? --- Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way...
