Madam Xie's Comeback

Version One: The moment I realized I'd transmigrated, I thought, No matter what, I have to watch what I say and do, keep a low profile, and never get too far ahead of my time. As it turned out, I was seriously overthinking it. I'd landed in the Eastern Jin dynasty, where right outside my door I could see a bunch of people running around naked, dancing as if no one else existed, and solemnly braying like donkeys... The ancients are so uninhibited. How am I supposed to deal with this? Version Two: I stopped the gentle-looking young man and asked, "May I ask, Young Master, what is the man I'm supposed to marry like?" Xie An covered his nose with a fan and replied with a frown, "His hair is as white as your skin, and your hair is as black as his skin." I froze. Old and ugly? That night, I packed my bundle, climbed over the wall, and ran away from my marriage to Xie An. A joke nearly changed both history and my life. P.S. The heroine is overly self-important and naive at first, but she'll grow into a woman who takes responsibility. After all, there's more to this story than the elegance of the Wei and Jin dynasties: the Five Barbarians are also throwing China into chaos. That's why this story is also called The Good-for-Nothing Heroine Rises. It'll be what it'll be, so bear with me. Of course, this terrible author will do her best to write it well.
