Perhaps many people fall in love with poetry because of its pure, elegant lines, rich with emotion. As we read, an indescribable feeling rises in us for no apparent reason, like a drop of ink falling on fine paper, slowly spreading from the Southern Tang a thousand years ago into our hearts.
It's not only the graceful elegance of his writing, nor necessarily the course of his life. Words share something with music and painting: regardless of borders or time, even after a thousand years, they can still touch our tenderest feelings.
Yet he remains a legend. Some call him the Master of Ci, others the Emperor of Ci. He is Li Yu.
I've never been able to figure out whether Li Yu was fortunate or unfortunate in life. If he was fortunate, he endured things that would be hardest for an emperor, or even any man, to bear. If he was unfortunate, then how did an unambitious, dutiful prince, who had no desire for the throne, miraculously prevail in the chaotic struggle for succession in the Southern Tang, and even keep the kingdom stable for over a decade amid turmoil?
The truth is, the things of this world are hard to explain. Even history is no more than birth and death dates on heavy pages. Amid the smoke of the past, who can tell what brought him joy, what caused him pain, or what left him confused and helpless?
Perhaps only his ci can let us feel what he once felt. Before the vast expanse of time, even a thousand years is but an instant.

Theme:
When Hongji was seriously ill, Li Yu visited him, but as usual he was turned away and could not get in. Li Yu chanted sutras and prayed for his brother outside the door. According to some unofficial novels, Hongji was so moved that the brothers put an end to their past feud, and it was a happy ending. Is the unofficial novel Ayako mentioned "The Justice of Empress Lee"? Then where did the aforementioned rejection come from? I really want to read the original text.
Ayako's writing is so good, I feel sorry for Hongji
Buy Ayako JJ's books at Dangdang!! Haha, I just had sex with Yijiang Chunshui. I hugged my bed and read it slowly. I just hope it won't be too miserable...
Congratulations Ayako! I am about to return to China, and I will definitely look for your masterpiece!
Sigh for Hongji He is really too self-centered, he only looks at himself and not others.
Ru Meng Ling is also called Yi Xian Zi. Once you see the fairy beauty, you will no longer see it, you can only remember it
Lilacs are empty and sad in the rain I also like this sentence the most In troubled times, it's hard to choose It's hard to say what's right
I agree with what Wu Shiliu said. I highly doubt that he traveled through time~~ Because It's similar to the protagonists in many time-travel novels nowadays~!!!
I think Jiang Chengzi prefers a dramatic feel, but is suitable for tragedy.
"The danger of destruction is clearly felt, but no one can stop it" Indeed, this is very depressing. Ayako, kiss me
