Dreams Come True on the Road to War

After reading this story, I shed a lot of tears. To be honest, I did not read this novel as a sequel to Shanghai on the Beach, but rather imagined it as a sincere and touching love story in troubled times. For Wen Qiang and Cheng Cheng, they were lucky after all. After going round and round, they went through ups and downs and were still able to stay together in the end. Thanks to the author for not writing it into a tragedy, and for realizing a happy dream in a fantasy novel.
