Eight-Sided Brainstorms

A lonely, big-eating academic decides to pursue a neurotic shut-in because the other guy keeps talking about "bromance" and "gay romance," and he thinks the two of them would be a perfect match. Unfortunately, after enduring countless anime recommendations, eating at street stalls together, and wandering all sorts of roads by day and night, the academic realizes the other guy is just a fujoshi. (Waves goodbye.)
