[Harry Potter] Starry Night

After the Dark Lord was defeated, the Ministry of Magic naturally launched a great purge, and the Malfoys had long since fallen from their former glory. The Death Eaters tried to make a comeback, and the first to bear the brunt of it was Malfoy, branded a "traitor" at the final hour. While Draco Malfoy was being attacked, he was struck by a bizarre curse as he tried to protect his wife. He thought he was doomed, but when he opened his eyes again, he had nearly been turned into a white ferret. The wealth Draco Malfoy gained from being reborn included not only the vast knowledge and unique memories he brought from his previous life, but also a face thicker than the walls of Hogwarts Castle. Astoria: My mother likes German men. Draco: My mother liked German men when she was young, too. Then she married my father. Astoria: ...But I never said I liked German men, too. Draco: In that case, I won't have to correct your mistaken ideas. Also known as: How Did I Manage to Marry My Wife When I Was Such a Jerk in My Previous Life? and Why Does My Wife Want to Spend Less Time with Me When I'm So Wonderful in This Life? ~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~★~☆~ This was originally a short story of around ten thousand characters, but at my friends' enthusiastic request, it was expanded into a longer work, divided into The Lost Path and Starry Night. The short story The Lost Path appears in the first few chapters as a prequel. It connects to the later story and shares some of its content. The events that set everything in motion are all in The Lost Path, so Starry Night doesn't repeat them at the start. Just read on in order. Thanks to Jinse Shixian's cover-art studio for the lovely cover. Warnings: 1. This is a one-on-one romance. The male lead is young Draco. I want to write a sweet story, with absolutely no angst. 2. There are pure-blood aristocrats. If that's not your thing, please move along. 3. I like the idea of Professor Snape being the young master's godfather, so that will be included. 4. For the sake of the plot, some dates have been changed without affecting the original story's main storyline. Update schedule: I have a stockpile of chapters, but I'm working on several stories at once, so updates will be irregular. They won't be too far apart, though, since this one seems easier to update than my others. The author's interests are very broad, and I'm easy to approach, very easy to approach. Bring up a topic I like and I'll come running to chat. You're welcome to say hi~ Please support my author page!!! >3
