After the Eastern Emperor departed, all the splendor of youth faded. I happened across this line of poetry, and thought that if the Eastern Emperor and Shaohua were two people, they would be enviably happy together. But in the end, Shaohua is merely an intangible, abstract concept. You cannot grasp it, hear it, or see it.
Those who have suffered understand how to cherish what they have. Those who know how to cherish are easiest to satisfy, and those who are easily satisfied can give up things that others consider precious.
When Yue Xi lost everything, Shao Hua was entering the happiest time of her life. The fairest and cruelest thing in the world is an equal exchange. If the person told a lie benefits from it completely, how should the liar treat them? Perhaps with continued resentment, perhaps by leaving the past behind. Someone once said that life is made up of countless possibilities woven together, and every life is an adventure. In other words, no one knows how things will turn out until the very end.
Both of them grow and change. Their minds, personalities, and appearances all evolve, and they will be quite different in the beginning and later on.
