If I had mind-reading powers, I wouldn't need to read everyone's mind. It would be enough to see his.
Dai Haiyan thought to himself, lightly rubbing his index finger over the black pen in his hand.
"Are you spacing out?" Song Yao asked, slightly annoyed, tapping the table with his curled index finger and making a crisp sound.
Dai Haiyan looked up at him with a hint of a smile. "One kiss earns you one point."
Song Yao's eyes widened in disbelief. "What kind of rule is that?"
"Don't want to?" Dai Haiyan nodded and picked up his pen. "Then I'll give you a 59."
Song Yao reached over and grabbed Dai Haiyan's hand, glaring at him in anger. "You wouldn't dare!"
Dai Haiyan raised an eyebrow and tightened his grip. He glanced at their hands, and Song Yao hurriedly let go as if he'd been burned. He tried to look composed, but his earlobes had turned a little red. He cleared his throat a few times.
Dai Haiyan laughed to himself, but kept a perfectly serious expression.
"Come closer," Song Yao ordered gruffly. Dai Haiyan happily leaned his face toward him, counting with glee.
"One, two, three..."
After who knew how many, Song Yao pushed Dai Haiyan away, his face red. "Is that enough?"
Dai Haiyan couldn't hold back any longer and burst out laughing.
Song Yao stood up indignantly and headed for the door. Dai Haiyan hurried after him and wrapped his arms around him. "Hahahaha, don't be mad!"
"Let go!"
"No!"
"Dai Haiyan!" Song Yao gritted his teeth.
"Song Yao, I love you."
Song Yao stopped and let Dai Haiyan hold him without saying a word.
As long as you speak, no matter what you say, my heart will be like a tired bird returning to its cage, no longer restless. Anything at all would do... Song Yao, don't be silent.
Someone once said, "I dare not love too deeply, for fear it'll all turn out to be a grand dream." He used to laugh at how maudlin it sounded, but now he finally understood.
The writing is good, come on,
