(Mouse and Cat) Rain from Years Ago

This is the sequel to Past Ties, about the Mouse and Cat transmigrating from modern times back to ancient times... A conspiracy... It seems that for a long time, an invisible hand has been controlling everything. Being reborn in modern times with memories of ancient times was already strange enough, but the two men who should have died in the Qingtian Tower somehow transmigrated back to ancient times as souls, giving them a chance to change the fate of their past. What is all this for? Is the other party a friend or a foe? Why were they chosen? Can the Mouse and Cat, carrying their modern memories, change their fate? Is this only about changing their fate? Their past and present lives are unexpectedly alike, and somehow their story continues in ancient times. Who is behind all this, and what are they planning? Fate should be in our own hands. Fighting back is inevitable. But will Zhan Zhao, with his memories of the past, still choose to serve in the Kaifeng Prefecture? Will his love with Bai Yutang still end in tragedy? What awaits them? The mist is waiting to be cleared... Also, though this may give away the ending, I solemnly promise that the two of them will end up together, and neither will die. Otherwise, I’ll surely be beaten to death by all of you first...
