Check out my new story, Survival of the Fittest: Mushroom Edition. Zhou Yu was reborn. Before he even realized he'd turned into a mushroom, an unidentified creature lunged at him, flailing its limbs. His "head" hurt, and he was bitten. Survive, or get eaten? What kind of question is that? Zhou Yu's spirits soared. He fought back fiercely, and by the time he realized what had happened, he'd eaten the other creature. From then on, a bright red bully mushroom appeared in the great Ero Forest on planet Kude. The red was period-blood red. He had no idea what species of mushroom he had been reborn as, but all the forest creatures seemed to know. Anything alive wanted to take a bite out of him. In this world where you either eat "people" or get eaten, Zhou Yu chooses to be a glutton. Theme: Steadfast and unyielding.
