Green Peacock [Greek Mythology]

Blurb:

Hera once loved Zeus. Now, she wants only the power of the Queen of the Gods.

Zeus once loved Hera deeply, but chose the power of the King of the Gods over the constraints of marriage. From then on, he became the philandering king of the cosmos from myth.

Fate once foretold that if they could not love each other until the end of their days, then tormenting each other until the very end would do just as well.

Reading Notes:

1. A gorgeous, arrogant woman and a charming, amorous man: they love and torment each other, and both are selfish. This is no ordinary romance; it's more about using each other.

2. The story involves disputes over divine authority and uses my own mythological setting. Zeus loves Hera deeply, but keeps her at arm's length in order to escape the constraints of marriage.

3. Set in the post-myth era, this is Zeus's long road to winning his wife back.

Theme: Love isn't everything. Life is.
