"Hermione, so many people have died..." After the war, Harry couldn't accept reality. "Is there any way to bring them back to life? Or change history?"
So Hermione thought fast.
Time travel was no difficult subject for her, since she had studied the Time-Turner long ago. But even going back and killing Voldemort when he was still in an orphanage wouldn't solve anything.
The real evil wasn't Voldemort, but his ideology: the deranged obsession with pure-blood supremacy and Slytherin's twisted devotion to Slytherin.
Of course, Voldemort's idiocy had also played a crucial part.
"Go back and persuade Slytherin? Malfoy chose to betray him, after all," Hermione said casually.
"But Slytherin, and the Dark Mark..." Harry hesitated. He thought it would be far too difficult to persuade that dark, um, little bat.
"Why wait until they've been branded?" A look of madness appeared in Hermione's eyes.
"First, we'll clear out the dungeons from decades ago, then we can talk it out nice and slow with them." That was Hermione's plan.
"Wait, what?!" Harry was dumbfounded.
And so a group of Gryffindors transmigrated to decades earlier and kidnapped all the key Death Eater recruits before they could graduate.
