Waiting for the Lotus to Bloom

Um, this is the last installment in the Dao Jiang Fairy Tale series. I actually finished writing it last year. I think it was last year... Probably sometime between 2014 and 2015. I posted it on Tieba once before, and now, in the spirit of bringing the series to a close, Dao Jiang has come to Jinjiang to post it again. Haha. I hope you'll support me! I'm really not good at writing blurbs...

The female lead is an urban professional nearing thirty. On her wedding day, she discovers her lover has been cheating, so she drives drunk to run away from the wedding, and then... dies. Well, not exactly. She's a pretty fun woman with a very interesting personality. The big bad is a sadist.

Forget it, you shouldn't read my blurb anyway. I know it's awful. Just read the story, my dears!

We dish out melodrama and clean it up, too. The unexpected makes sense in retrospect. Life may be full of familiar old cliches, but in the end, we all reach the same destination by different paths.
