[Not Quite Japanese Showbiz] Boyfriend Gacha

[The Short Version]

My name is Mi Mei, and I'm a manga artist. I never imagined that a capsule toy machine would spit out a whole bunch of boyfriends, and now I don't know which one to sign a contract with.

[The Very Complicated Version]

Every holiday, I worry about what kind of boyfriend to bring home.

You see, ever since I became a huge fan, my taste has gone completely off the rails. I can't appreciate the looks of the people who like me, and the people whose looks I like can't appreciate mine.

Huh? What kind of looks do I like? The long legs of Oguri Shun, the sloping shoulders of Sakurai Sho, the softness of Chiba Yudai, the cuteness of Kamenashi Kazuya, the handsomeness of Yamashita Tomohisa... But how could they possibly appreciate my looks?

To shut up all the gossiping aunts, I have no choice but to use capsule toys, the fairest and most impartial method, to choose my boyfriend. There are four grades: X, M, A, and S. Sometimes a limited edition pops out, too. I refuse to believe I can't get myself a perfect boyfriend!

[Friendly Reminder] Fangirls, please imagine the heroine as yourself. Basically, it's just about dating your favorite idols!

I'm starting a new story in time for Valentine's Day. It's pure imagination, really, just a flight of fancy, and it's told in first person. If you think it's a little saintly, a little self-indulgent, and a little crazy, then you're right! If you think it's a little passionate and inspirational, that's normal too! Spoiler: I won't get Toma Ikuta or Sakurai Sho.
