[Gintama] The Edo Era

Sugi Chizuru has always been a good kid with a solid sense of right and wrong. The job she envies most is teaching. She was born in Matsumoto Village, Choshu Domain, but never got the chance to study at Shoka Sonjuku. She is best friends with Ketsuno Kurisute, the younger sister of the head of an onmyoji family, but is utterly helpless when it comes to talismans. As a woman, she can't play the shamisen, though she's pretty good with a sword. She went to battle just once, and paid for it with the loss of the person dearest to her. So she decided to settle down and devote herself to teaching. Like the person she once admired, she opened a private school, while also remembering those who had passed away. Until one day, the roof started leaking... She called the supposedly "totally reliable" Yorozuya. and met that laid-back, naturally curly-haired man. From then on, she stepped into the pit she'd dug herself and never got out. During the final stretch, all sorts of things happened (it's complicated; long story short, I came back to life from inside a cheese-bread filling). Now I'm giving this original story its final ending. Warnings ahead!!!!!! I'm starting a major revision, so the story may have serious continuity breaks and plot inconsistencies! New readers, please choose your moment carefully before jumping in (covers face). You can just read the chapters marked "Revised" in their summaries. Honestly, this story is from like eight hundred years ago. Are there really any new readers getting into it? (looks up at the sky) Theme: Life is all about charging ahead. That's it.
