A World Ruled by Liars

[I was underage when I wrote this story. Please bear with me if there are any shortcomings.] Ning Jiule was in a terrible bind. His family was about to go under in his hands. If he didn't pull off something big soon, he wouldn't be able to make a living in old Beicheng. I don't cheat the good, the desperate, the wicked, or the prosperous. So who am I supposed to cheat? Ning Jiule spat on the ground, then called to the man getting out of a luxury car in front of him. "Hey, your shoelace is untied." The man stood straight. He was nearly six foot three, with delicate features, long legs, and an imposing presence. He didn't look down, only gave Ning Jiule a cold glance. Ever since that fool had grown up, he had never fallen for it. Ning Jiule didn't mind and just flashed him a dazzling grin. Right in front of Ning Jiule, the man opened the trunk. Inside was an unlocked briefcase, packed with cash, along with two glittering diamond rings. Ning Jiule made up his mind on the spot! This was the guy he was going to scam! It took a long time for Ning Jiule to realize that he was the one who'd been conned. "You liar!" A sweet romance, one-on-one, with a scheming top and a rogue bottom. Theme:
