My Years Among Mortals

In all my years among mortals, I wished only to see you again. The little demon Su Tangli had three wishes in life. First, to escape alive from beneath the Demon-Suppressing Pagoda. Second, for her enemy to die an early death after being cut to pieces a thousand times. Third, for the Lingyin Temple to fall apart and its disciples to scatter. She never expected to wake up one hundred years later. Now that she was free, Su Tangli discovered that all her wishes had come true: her enemy had died long ago, the temple had fallen into ruin, and only two Taoist priests, one old and one young, remained. The thousand-year-old temple was on the verge of losing its legacy. Before she could celebrate, she was horrified to discover that her once stiff, solid body had become soft and squishy, just like a human's! Life as a demon was hard. This cute and clueless little demon, whose outlook could be called optimistic but whose nature was more like a silly dream, chose to laugh her way through it. The hilarious daily life of a sweet, silly little demon in human society. A lighthearted, sweet fantasy.
