The Book of the Plain Maiden [GL]

Huai Xia lived quietly for eight years in the birdcage-like imperial palace. Until she met that person. That person threw her seasons into disarray, stirred the long-dormant resentment within her, and taught her how to love, how to hate, and how to pursue everything she wanted. The eldest princess of the Jia Dynasty, He Huaixia, had always been obedient, well-behaved, and easy to overlook. Then one day, she met a bold and reckless older girl named He Nianxin. From then on, the older girl practiced martial arts while the younger one studied literature. Together, the two girls combined their strengths and became a celebrated tale in the history of the Jia Dynasty. The commandery princess becomes a general, and the princess ascends the throne! Reader's Guide 1. The CP dynamic is an incredibly strong, rebellious, violent top × a once-obedient little girl who grows up to become a queenly bottom. 2. I've been asked this a few times, so here's one answer for everyone: The two protagonists belong to the same clan and are relatives, but the top's family adopted her, so they are not blood-related. 3. There isn't a reader group, but you can treat this as one: 423755971, Plum Blossoms in Wine. 4. [Advance Notice] This novel will be available for purchase on September 25, 2017, with three chapters released that day.
