After finally getting Ming An to sleep, Ming Jing returned to her room and saw Wang Tianfeng sitting at the head of the bed, holding a copy of How the Steel Was Tempered in one hand and a lollipop in the other, licking it with relish. “Why are you eating candy so late at night again? It's bad for your teeth.” Ming Jing yawned and lazily climbed onto the bed. As soon as she slipped under the covers, Wang Tianfeng leaned over and held out the lollipop. Ming Jing pushed it away. “I already brushed my teeth.” “Brush them again...” Wang Tianfeng's low, husky voice sounded beside her ear, his breath barely brushing against her. Ming Jing's ears grew hot. As if she knew what he was after, she quickly raised a hand to push him away. “I have a meeting tomorrow.” But tonight, Wang Tianfeng seemed determined not to take no for an answer. He kissed her without hesitation. “Didn't Ming An tell you? He wants a little sister...” Taking advantage of a pause, Ming Jing hurriedly said, “But isn't there... Ming Li?” She thought of Ming Tai and Man Li's daughter, whom Ming An loved playing with most. “Ming Li isn't here very often.” Ming Tai's family lived in Vienna and rarely came back. Remembering that, Ming Jing felt a little sad. It had been so long since she'd seen them. As if he sensed what she was thinking, Wang Tianfeng gently reassured her by her ear. “If we give Ming An a little sister, Ming Tai and the others will definitely come home to see you every day.” As he spoke, his hands kept moving. His rough palm lightly brushed over Ming Jing's abdomen, making her shiver.
