As a proud and (in her own opinion) capable earl's daughter, Asiyan's plan to reclaim her title and fortune goes as follows:
1) Give up drinking. She can't keep letting the servants drag her, dead drunk, all the way back to her room along the muddy garden path. How humiliating!
2) Make money. Dinner has sunk to the pathetic level of having only three place settings, like commoners. Cheap porcelain is simply intolerable!
3) Get her father's inheritance back. Surely changing the inheritance laws can't be that hard.
4) Make the man who took everything from her... (The paper has been fiercely scratched through and is illegible.)
5) Get all of the above done by early next spring, so she can attend the spring and summer ball season.
Yes, that about covers it. Asiyan looked proudly at the plan she'd just written, then couldn't help but... open another bottle of wine.
The berry wine from the Oxhorn Winery is so delicious, she thought, wrapped in a robe made from an old curtain.
